OOC: Critique Post

Got any questions, comments, critique?

Laharl's gotten stupid messed up here, there's no denying that, lol. I worry a LOT LOT LOT. DX I've made a lot of mistakes, I'll be the first to admit that. There's a lot I wish I could go back and rewrite... even in recent threads. orz But yeah, um, I'd rather have someone contact me like this than like... fandomsecrets or rp_secrets ah hahaha ha. ^^;;;;; Anon commenting is on so yes. /o/ Comments are much appreciated!

(And a run through of what's happened thus far and some of my thoughts and comments can be found here.)

I don't know much of the fandom really yet, but from seeing Laharl in other situations (DC, lol) annnnd even him from the beginning of Paixao, I think his reactions are fitting. I mean seriously... he's gotten the most screwed with, lol. Holy crap I'm surprised he's still kicking :OO

I think it's better to go slightly "OOC" in response to torture than simply shrugging it off. Torture screws people up, and while some folks recover more quickly than others, scars happen and there is some kind of recovery time needed.

I don't know the character well enough to say for certain, but I'd be fairly confident in calling Laharl's reactions "character development re:extraordinary circumstances" rather than "lol OOC burn the witch".

I do trust you that he's IC. From what I know of him I don't like him in his canon, either.

Although, when I say I don't like him, I didn't and don't mean it as a comment on your particular portrayal of him, and I kind of wish you didn't jump to that conclusion every time I say something about his character. That's why I don't feel like I can say anything about it to you in person, you seem to take it really personally.

*should probably quit with the anon since it's probably getting painfully obvious who I am by now anyway*
