You can try to mess with me all you want (not like you don't already, geez) but you damn well leave my vassals alone! If you hurt Flonne or Etna again I swear to hell I'll show you just damn well why I'm the Overlord of the Netherworld!

I did. I would do so again should he ask it. But that is not the case here. We all have our parts to play after all. You should know mine. It is that that governs what actions I choose to make and not an feeling I might have for him as I can assure you I have none.

So I did. Good to see that you are at least capable of grasping that much. Nonetheless I seem to recall that I need not take orders from you of all people. What I do and when will be at my whim.

I am simply here to fill a role, and one that perhaps only I could have played. It is hypocritical, that much I will give you, but if I am to retain the face that the public sees of me and not have them suspect at my true nature then perhaps I must be a hypocrite. What harm therefore in setting out a simple lie?

I don't care that you're lying to them. Lie all you like - I find it amusing. I simply don't see the point in your continuing to argue with me in private.

Forgive me. Old habits die hard sometimes, especially in circumstances such as these. By all means, you are free to do as you wish - I have no problems with it. However, perhaps it would be best from antagonizing him further with so many crawling out of the woodworks tonight. It would hardly do to provoke the ire of any more after all.
